Week 5 - Connectivism

Hello world,

This week we were assigned the task of creating a mind map. I had lots of software at my disposal to do this. Some the choices are Autodesk’s AutoCAD, Microsoft’s Visio, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and finally Adobe’s PhotoShop.

However, I chose to go with Visio, it was the easiest to use and it converted to JPG quickly.

I hope you enjoy!

Thanks

  1. Hi Clarence, I'll try this again. I love your poor little brain peddling fast to keep up. He should be our class mascot. I was wondering which of the social networking sites you find most useful? Deanna

  2. Hi Clarence I love your mind map it's very descriptive and shows how well you are connected... are you a digital immigrant or native? Is Visio a free download or a purchase?

  3. Rbanks,

Thanks for the compliment on my mind map. I feel that little humor goes a long way.

Visio is a software package that comes with MS Office 2003, 2007 and 2010. It is mostly used for flow charts, network diagrams and office space layout. However, it was easy for me to use and it does support exporting to JPG format.

    Thanks

  4. waldenreflections,

At last, we are able to post comments and I am able to reply. It turns out the biggest issue I was having was with Internet Explorer. My wife uses my extra laptop when she is working from home to surf. I use it when I am in the family room doing homework. So that is the laptop that i use the most for homework. Apparently some setting were changed in IE that have messed up Google's Blogspot site. When I used Firefox to log into the Blog, everything worked.

I am going to look it over again to see if I can get IE to work. What browser do you use?

    Thanks for the feedback too!
